As a leading domestic airline of Nepal, safety is not just a priority, but an imperative for us. We invest heavily in our infrastructure and training to ensure safety.

• Our hangar is the only MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) in Nepal. Our closed door hangar is certified part 145 Aircraft Maintenance from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

• Our employees are also trained on a regular basis. From baggage handlers to pilots, these trainings are approved by CAAN and International Air Transport Association (IATA).

• Our compliance department is responsible for carrying our scheduled internal audits. We also successfully completed an AvMaSSI Operational Safety Audit program on 15 April 2016. The audit comprised of a harmonized series of international best practices based on International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annexes, to assess the safety status of all operational disciplines of Buddha Air.
