Shopping
Whether it is
souvenirs or other goods Kathmandu offers a host of malls,
department stores and shopping arcades where you can shop
till you drop, but rest assured your wallets will take time
to empty.
Golf
Nepal has some
spectacular golfing greens chief among which is the Le
Meridian Gokarna Forest Golf Resort less than an hour away
from Kathmandu. This is a world class 18 hole course set in
the middle of a protected forest with the Himalaya in the
background. Other courses
are the Royal Nepal Golf Club next to the airport in
Kathmandu. There are also courses in Pokhara and Dharan.
Casinos
Nepal offers some
excellent gaming opportunities for gamblers with seven
casinos located in top hotels in Kathmandu. The casinos are
open 24/7 and access is only allowed to foreigners. All
popular games like roulette, blackjack, poker etc are
played. Casinos provide free food
and drinks to players.
Clubbing
The country may
be traditional but there is no doubt that Nepalese like to
party. While there are plenty of night clubs in Kathmandu
and a few in Pokhara, not all remain open all night. Check
with your hotel for references.

No holiday is
complete without a rejuvenating session at one of the many
excellent spas in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Most major hotels
have trained therapists and programs that can give you back
all the energy you need to face life back in the workspace
after a long holiday.
Yoga
Yoga or the
ancient Indian science of remaining healthy by exercising
the mind and body with age old techniques established by
sages of the past, can be extremely rewarding even if you
only learn the basics. There are plenty of yoga classes in
